Fighting for Anje
Anje is a cancer warrior, fighting an incurable and very painful bone marrow/blood cancer, Multiple Myeloma, for over 5 years now. She's reached a point where 24/7 caregivers are needed, costing much more than she can raise on her own. Anje is fully aware and as sharp as ever and still has her famous sense of humor. Unfortunately, she has lost the ability to organize medications, appointments, run errands, and maintain her own safety. She uses a rolling walker to get around her lovely apartment but there is always the danger of falling and not being able to get help. The $10,000 would just be a start to cover the cost of having a caregiver with her at all times.
Anje has fought as hard as she could fight, still running the rescue and caring for many litters of newborn kittens herself through the pain. Her doctors are out of treatments and she has begun hospice care at home. Please give to our dear Anje's campaign as generously as you are able. It will mean so much to her and to her many supporters and friends to be in this together. Thank you all who participate and send love.

Here are just some of the MANY quotes from friends and family who've had the joy of knowing Anje:
“What a legacy you’ve made.”
“You have given me the courage to foster and rescue many itty bitty kitties.”
