Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out during one of the most difficult times in my life. Right now, I’m facing more than I ever thought I’d have to at once, and I’m asking for help because I don’t know where else to turn.

I’ve recently became independent and have little family support. I’m doing everything I can to stay afloat, but between working 3 jobs and trying to afford college, groceries, medications, and even my phone bill , it’s becoming very overwhelming just trying to survive day to day.

I’m currently:

• Paying for on campus housing to have the ability to attend college

• Paying my tuition entirely on my own, outside of scholarships, while trying to stay focused on my education

• Trying to afford basic necessities like food and hygiene items

• Covering my phone bill to stay connected to school, work opportunities, and emergency services

• Struggling to afford essential medications

• Saving for a car in order to transport myself to work, my church, classes, etc.

I never imagined I’d be in a position where I’d have to ask for help, but I’m trying to keep a positive outlook on life so here I am, doing my best to keep going, to keep studying, to keep my faith, and to keep fighting for a better future. Anything you can give, even a small amount, will go directly toward helping me have a better and more stable future .
