Hi, my name is Roberto Robles jr. I’m raising funds to go on my school’s field trip to Washington, D.C. This trip means so much to me not just because it’s an exciting opportunity, but because it connects to my dream for the future.

I want to become a medical scientist when I grow up. My passion comes from a very personal place. my great Nana passed away from cancer, and now my grandpa is fighting cancer. I’ve seen firsthand how much this disease impacts families, and I want to dedicate my life to finding a cure.

Going to Washington, D.C. will inspire me to see how Congress works, and how laws and policies shape healthcare and research. I believe one day I can help make a difference in the fight against cancer, not just for my family, but for families everywhere.
