My name is Aladdin. I make videos on YouTube to help believers and ex-believers think critically, especially about matters concerning faith, religious dogma, and various related topics.

I draw from both personal experience and scripture to inform my critique of religious ideologies. I also bring visibility to the stories of vilified apostates like myself who have little to no fair representation. With the help of my followers, we have built a thriving community that is a safe haven for all questioning and past believers.

Though hostility is common in such spaces, from both the religious and anti-religious crowds, I aim to deliver a level-headed message without compromising my integrity, and without appeasing bigots or zealots.

Despite all that, I face constant challenges, such as sabotage attempts, mass reporting, and doxxing campaigns. Recently, one such campaign endangered my privacy and safety. I talk about it in more detail in this video. YouTube has unfortunately failed to enact preventative measures, so I am forced to deal with each attack as they come.

It is extremely difficult to keep up with all these challenges alone, without a team, while trying to be creative and productive. I find myself neglecting my mental and physical health in order to keep the channel afloat. This is not sustainable.
