My name is Forrest and I'm fighting against Chordoma cancer. This rare and aggressive form of cancer and has few specialists in the states forcing me to seek medical care out of state and thus is not covered by insurance. This has turned my world upside down and left me with huge medical expenses that I can not afford to cover on my own.

The target amount for my campaign was initially $75,000 but was more than likely costing more, edit: after the first surgery the cost of the first bill was $130,198 minus a 30% discount for self pay total cost of: $91,139 this will just be the start of increasing medical costs unfortunately we are trying our hardest to get financial assistance but they are saying I don’t currently qualify because I am not a Illinois resident. I will be updating this Fundraiser frequently with my journey! 

Use of the Funds:

The funds will go towards medical expenses, including treatment costs, medication, tests, and hospitalisations, as well as travel and accommodation costs for any treatment out of town. Anything extra after all the medical bills are taken care of will be put to a future fund to be used to help other cancer patients!

Chordoma cancer is a slow-growing tumour that attacks the spinal cord and other vital organs. My condition requires frequent visits to hospitals and specialists, along with intensive treatments that can include radiation treatment and will include surgery that come with their own set of potential complications one of the main ones being the potential to lose some lower bodily functions.

The cost of proper treatment is skyrocketing, leaving me feeling lost, vulnerable and stressed about my future. That is why I'm reaching out to you to ask for your help.
