Fighting Cancer with Suzanne Tétrault

Dear family, friends, and community members,

We are reaching out to you today with heavy hearts and a plea for help for our beloved Mother. Please understand how challenging and emotional it is for us to not only write this letter but to also ask for help.

Our Mom, Suzanne Tétrault, received some life-changing news this past spring. She was diagnosed with stage 4 Breast cancer that has metastasized from her previous cancer in 2003. The cancer has spread into multiple areas of her body and has been deemed incurable as it has affected different areas of her bones.

Suzanne is a woman who is proudly known by many titles. She is a treasured daughter, a caring sister, a compassionate and loving wife, a fiercely devoted mother and grandmother, a favourite aunt, a considerate cousin, a special friend, a dedicated community member and the friendly face we have seen at the Post Office for almost two decades.

Suzanne has decided to seek additional treatments that are not covered by provincial health programs and will complement her treatment protocols offered by Cancer Care Manitoba which were recommended to slow the progression of her cancer.

In Suzanne's first battle with cancer in 2003, she underwent chemotherapy and a mastectomy. Her treatments impacted her quality of life, not only taking a physical toll but an emotional and mental health one as well. This time around, we are hopeful that the treatments that she has researched and wants to seek through naturopathic medicine would enable her to enjoy a better quality of life as she navigates her treatment schedule and offers her the ability to enjoy her hopefully, many years to come, doing things that she loves and spending time with family and all those she cares about. These naturopathic treatments and supplements have proven to decrease cancer growth and prolong life without placing the immune system in danger. She would also leave these treatments feeling the same way she felt right beforehand.

The total cost of these additional treatments starts at 100 000$ and have the potential to prolong our mother’s life.

Our humble and heartfelt appeal would be that you would consider donating to help her cover the cost of her naturopathic treatments. Because of our Mom’s strong Spiritual faith and belief in the power of prayer, we would also ask that you keep her in your prayers.

We sincerely thank you in advance for sharing this with as many people as possible. Statistics are clear that we all have known of someone who has had to stand up to cancer. Please help us help our Mom make her stand against this terrible disease.
