Fighting Cancer with Hope: Kay-Anna’s Journey to Healing
Donation protected
Kay-Anna McPherson’s story is one of faith, hope, and perseverance. As a close friend, I (Delroy) am reaching out to help Kay-Anna and her family during their toughest battle yet, one they’ve faced with courage, prayer, and love.
Their Story
Back in 2019, Kay-Anna found a lump in her breast. The diagnosis; breast cancer, turned their world upside down. With her husband’s steady support, they leaned on God and each other, taking out loans just to get through the first round of tests and treatment.
Over fifteen months, Kay-Anna endured chemo, targeted therapies, and radiation. It was tough, but there were blessings too, God provided, sometimes in ways they never expected. At one point, chemotherapy was given for free, which was nothing short of a miracle.
When the financial and emotional strain became overwhelming, they didn’t give up. Instead, they found hope in holistic treatments and kept trusting God’s plan. After surgery in 2021, doctors said the cancer was gone. But another scare came later that year, leading to a mastectomy. Still, Kay-Anna never lost faith.
In 2022, God surprised them again, Kay-Anna became pregnant with their second child, a little girl they named Leah Faith. Wanting the best for their family, they moved to Boston for better care, and Kay-Anna continues treatments, mixing both traditional and natural approaches.
Why They Need Help
The family’s faith is strong, but the bills keep piling up. Between medical costs, raising two young children, and starting over in a new city, they need a hand from the community.
How You Can Make a Difference
Every donation will go toward:
- Paying off medical bills and covering future treatments
- Helping the family find stability in this new chapter
- Letting Kay-Anna focus on healing and being there for her kids
A Call to the Christian Community
This journey is a living testimony to God’s faithfulness. The McPhersons have seen prayers answered and miracles along the way, but now they need the support of their brothers and sisters in Christ more than ever. If you feel led, please consider giving, sharing, or simply praying for this beautiful family.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of Kay-Anna’s story.
