Fighting Cancer While Preserving My Future

Hi, my name is Tracy, and in May, I was diagnosed with advanced endometrial cancer.

Since then, life has become a full-time job of fighting — MRIs, PET scans, CTs, bloodwork, and two rounds of fertility preservation so I wouldn’t lose the chance of having a family in the future. Unfortunately, none of this has been covered by insurance.

Because of daily appointments and side effects, I’ve been unable to work. On top of everything, I’ll be undergoing a full hysterectomy this Monday. My insurance requires me to pay a significant percentage out of pocket for the hospital, anesthesia, and surgeon fees.

As of now, I’m facing over $14,000 in medical bills — and more to come with surgery and recovery.
