I’m fundraising on behalf of my dear friend Eddie and his brother, who is courageously fighting stage 4 cancer. They’re hard-working, humble, and proud, so asking for help is the last thing they ever wanted to do. But now, they’re facing a perfect storm of hardship and need our support.

Why They Need Help

• Stage 4 cancer. Eddie’s brother was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer in late 2023. Despite surgery and months of chemo, the cancer has spread to his liver. He now has multiple tumors and is undergoing more aggressive treatment. Despite this, he still works because he has to.

• Medical debt is crushing them. One surgery alone cost them $6,000 out of pocket, even with insurance. There have been multiple procedures, scans, biopsies, and hospital stays since then. Eddie has been covering as much as he can, but now both their vehicles are breaking down, and they’re barely surviving paycheck to paycheck.

• Their home is being sold. They’ve lived there for over a year, kept it spotless and paid rent on time, but the landlord, who’s also in a tough spot, is selling the house before their lease ends in February 2026. No clear move-out date has been given, but the writing is on the wall.

What the $10,000 Will Cover

• First and last month’s rent + deposit for a new place

• Car and truck repairs so they can get to work and medical appointments

• Basic living expenses (food, utilities, gas) while they get back on their feet

These two brothers have held it together through pure grit. They’ve asked for nothing until now. But cancer, debt, and the threat of homelessness have pushed them into a corner.
