Margarite, an amazing, loving, smart, driven friend of our family (basically family) is going through the challenge of a lifetime. Her handsome and intelligent son, Danny (age 17) was diagnosed with testicular cancer. After having multiple surgeries that required this poor young boy to redefine “manhood”, it was determined that the cancer had spread and he is now undergoing Chemotherapy in LA.  To add to the challenge, Margarite is the sole provider for her young grand daughter who she is also trying to guide through this confusing and scary time. 

Margarite cleans homes for a living and with her son in LA she has been forced to cut almost all of her hours to be with him. I am hoping the community around us will join me in providing the slightest comfort for her in this time of need to reduce the stress and inspire the healing! The staggering medical bills and lack of work add so much stress in this already discouraging time. 

I continue to be impressed at the ability for us all to come together to help those in need and I thank you so much in advance for continuing that love and support here!
