My name is Nicholas Lamura.
Right now, I’m in the middle of the hardest fight of my life. I’ve been diagnosed with advanced colon cancer that has spread into my abdomen. Doctors consider it Stage 4—but I’m still here, and I’m still fighting.
At the same time, I’m going through a divorce and trying to rebuild my life from the ground up. I’ve handled everything on my own—moving, bills, medical appointments, and day-to-day life—while dealing with the physical and emotional toll of cancer.
Some days are okay. Other days are heavy. The treatments are tough, and the stress of keeping up with everything makes it even harder.
I’m at a point where it feels like I’m choosing between paying for treatment, keeping up with bills, or just trying to get through the week. I’ve always been the one helping others, and asking like this isn’t easy for me—but I need help right now.
I’m a father, and I’m doing everything I can to stay strong and keep going. I’m not giving up.
I’ve also been working on something I truly believe in—an invention called StormMesh™, designed to help protect homes and families from severe storms. My goal is to bring it to life and use it to help others, especially after everything I’ve been through.
If you’re able to help in any way—whether it’s donating or simply sharing this—it would mean more to me than I can put into words.
If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this with others.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for standing with me during this fight.
