Hi, I’m Amanda and I wanted to set up a Go Fund me page the Poss family. I seen this poor family go through so much and I want to call on our beautiful community to help out if you can.
As some know, Life can change in an instant, and for our dear friend Jess and her family, that moment has come far too soon. Their beautiful daughter has recently been diagnosed with brain cancer, turning their world upside down in ways no family should ever have to face.

As they begin this incredibly difficult journey, their focus needs to be on what matters most—being by her side, supporting her through treatment, and holding onto hope. The emotional toll is unimaginable, and the financial pressure that comes with medical care, travel, and time away from work only adds to the weight they are carrying.

Jess and her family are the kind of people who are always there for others—kind, generous, and full of love. Now it’s our turn to stand beside them.

We are asking for any support you can give, whether it’s a donation, sharing this page, or simply keeping them in your thoughts. Every little bit helps ease the burden and reminds them they are not alone in this fight.

Let’s come together as a community and surround this family with love, strength, and hope.

A little about Kayla’s story.

Our Girl Kayla

Kayla is just 14 years old — full of life, laughter, and determination. She’s the kind of girl who lights up every room she walks into. She loves her sport, especially touch football, and should be focused on school, friends, and her future… not MRIs and neurologist appointments.

But recently, everything changed for this beautiful family.

Kayla has been diagnosed with a low-grade brain tumour (glioma), located deep within her brain in the fourth ventricle — a small but critical area responsible for circulating fluid around the brain and spinal cord. Due to its location near vital structures that control essential functions, surgery is not an option.

While it is considered “low-grade,” this is still brain cancer — and with it comes an overwhelming amount of uncertainty. For now, doctors are closely monitoring the tumour, with the possibility of treatments such as chemotherapy if there are any signs of growth or change.

Her family is doing everything they can, even reaching out to specialists overseas for further opinions, determined to explore every possible option for Kayla.

Right now, they are learning to live with something no family should ever have to face.

And through it all, Kayla continues to show incredible strength. She still smiles, still shines, and remains the beautiful, brave girl everyone knows and loves. Her family stands beside her every step of the way — strong, united, and unwavering in their support.

Kayla is currently undergoing MRI scans every six weeks, each followed by neurosurgical appointments, as doctors carefully monitor her condition.

As you can imagine, this journey brings not only emotional challenges, but significant financial pressure. Between ongoing medical care, frequent scans, travel, time off work, and seeking additional medical opinions — including overseas — the burden is immense.

This is where we can come together to help.

Your support will go towards:• Ongoing medical expenses, including regular MRI scans and care• Travel and accommodation for appointments• Specialist and neurosurgery consultations every six weeks• Accessing additional medical opinions, including overseas experts• Easing financial stress so the family can focus on what matters most — Kayla

Most importantly, your support shows this family they are not alone.

Because this is only one chapter in Kayla’s story — not the whole book.

This tumour does not define her.Her story is so much bigger than this.

Thank you for standing with Kayla and her Family
