Hello family, friends and the people of our community! We are asking for your help and desperately need it in helping our father, Rennie James. He was recently dianosed with stage 4 kidney cancer in November. We were told that he had a 9.5cm by 9.5cm tumor in his right kidney and that the cancer had spread to his lungs. He has several cancerous nodules in his lungs.
In December, he had to have a major kidney removal surgery, which took 7 1/2 hours to remove it. He is now functioning with one kidney and it is working okay. In January we got some very bad news that the medicine, Votrient (30 day supply), that he is suppose to take to keep the VERY aggresive cancer from spreading cost $4000 after his insurance picks it up. There is just no way that we can afford that!He needs this medicine to live longer! It completely devasted us. Our father is only 57, happily married, has 7 children, and 11 grandkids who he wants to spend more time with and we need him!!! Its not his time to go! Any help anybody could give us would be greatly appreciated!!! Words couldnt even express how much we would appreciate it!
