Hi, my name is Maya.

On December 9th, 2024 I was hospitalized during my nursing clinical with Multifocal Pneumonia.

As I thought I was getting better, my world paused at the age of 29, I received a life altering diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) an aggressive form of cancer that requires immediate and intensive treatment within the same week.

As I face the battle I am humbly asking for your help. Unfortunately, the financial burden of this diagnosis has been overwhelming. Being unable to work and finishing nursing school while I focus on chemotherapy treatment has made it even harder to keep up with everyday expenses.

I am asking for any kind of support to help alleviate some of the financial stress so I can focus on what truly matters—beating cancer.
