To our friend’s family colleagues and local community, my name is Kira and alongside my brother Shaun and our families we would like to tell you about our uncle.

 

Victor has been recently diagnosed with stage III throat cancer. Victor a hardworking man, a full-time single parent, a man better known for his kind soul, his fun loving and cheeky positive outlook on life, a man that deals with any situation that comes his way without asking for anything. He is the man that would give to those in need even if it meant he went without, now it is our turn to take care of him.

 

Naturally, this news has devastated our family friends and the community. Vic has now been forced to cease work to undergo an aggressive radiotherapy and chemo treatment plan to fight this battle with all he can.

 

Vic unfortunately does not have his beautiful wife of 20 years Gaetana by his side after she passed away unexpectedly on the 28th of March 2020. Their beautiful son Jaykob after suffering a sudden and near fatal cardiac arrest on the 30th of August 2019 is healthy but requires check-ups to monitor his condition while he progresses through life as a normal teenage boy.

 

Despite the tragic circumstances Vic is staying positive and still cracking jokes loving life every chance he gets and making the most of every day.

So, we are putting the call out to all those that love and care about Vic and the wider community to help support our uncle at a time when he needs it most. Money raised will help support him through the toughest of times by giving him the greatest gift, having some financial security and the ability to navigate the journey ahead with minimal stress.
