Fight for Josh Cohen!
Joshua Cohen, a 9 year old happy energetic third grader at Arthur T. Cummings Elementary School and a student at Boston TKD & Fitness Academy in Winthrop, MA was recently diagnosed with kidney cancer. Joshua had no signs of this illness and it was discovered after a fall at the park. Since mid-October, he has gone from a healthy, vibrant boy to having undergone a major surgery, taking radiation treatments, and is now undergoing chemotherapy treatments at the Jimmy Fund Clinic at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. He has a long difficult road to recovery!
Josh was scheduled to test for his junior black belt this past December but was not able to participate. He has displayed and continues to demonstrate true confidence of mind and strength of heart, true signs of a black belt. His perseverance is an inspiration to all of those around him. This has been a huge shock to his family and they are looking for the support of our generous community to help pay for medical expenses. We would appreciate any support you could offer the family no matter how small.
Thank you for your help.
