Jaceys Breast Cancer Fund

On October 24, 2015 Jaceys life would change forever by discovering a lump in her right breast. This is a scary find that leads our mind racing through ideas whether or not it's cancer, will I survive, how will I cope, pure panick and how will my family deal with this outcome. Jacey's cancer was confirmed on 10/30 with diagnosis stage 1 triple negative breast cancer (very aggressive) and she underwent a bilateral mastectomy on November 30th.  At this point she was advised from Oncologists she would need 8 rounds of chemotherapy and reconstruction surgery on December 10th. She then began chemo on January 29th with the hopes of having chemo on a dose dense regimen with Neulasta. Unfortunatley, Neulasta and her didn't agree with one another and she experienced shortness of breath and was taken off Neulasta with her treatments and moved to an every 3 week chemo schedule. She was due to have her final 4 treatments of chemo beginning on April 15th with high hopes of being able to try Neulasta again and hoping she didn't have another reaction so she could be completely finished with chemo on 5/27.  Unfortuntately, again she had shortness of breath and extreme bone pain and her Oncologist felt that Neulasta wasn't the best option for her and a different option had to be chosen. She has now been placed on weekly chemo treatments for 10 weeks beginning 4/29 with a projected end date of 7/8. Due to only working part time, she hasn't qualified for any FMLA and her vacation time has ran out, her dates missed from work due to surgery and treatments have went unpaid. This family is near and dear to our hearts and are always wiling to help others in need. Now it's our time to help them with with financial costs of hospital/chemo/doctor expensed incurred which have been thousands of dollars.  Any little would help and no amount is too small, please if any questions don't hesitate to ask.
