Christine Hermann was recently diagnosed with Osteosarcoma. She is making week long trips to Denver once a month for treatment. This is not only draining on her physically and emotionally, but financially as well. Her friends have partnered with Melodie Good - Vantel Pearls Independent Demonstrator to help ease the financial burden.
There is no better gem to represent the fight Christine is fighting than the pearl. A pearl is formed when an irritant is present in the oyster's body. The oyster protects itself by forming layer upon layer of nacre on top of the irritant. The result of the oyster's fight is a beautiful pearl.
We can't fight this irritant in Christine's body, but we can ease the financial burden. I have no doubt Christine will fight this irritant and create her own pearl.
Christine is my age, 27, and is a stay at home mother of three wonderful children ages 9,7, and 6 months old. She has always gone above and beyond to help everyone in need and has done so many things to help me that it is so hard to thank her. She is always putting others before herself,even in her time of need. Christie's husband is working hard and trying the best that he can to help support there family financially. Then the burden of cancer hit... Christine is covered by state provided medical insurance, but that does not include the expense of gas and food to travel to Denver for her treatments every other week. I am asking you to think about someone whom has done everything in their power to help others and now that person is feeling helpless and has so much going on. Christine can hardly get out of bed anymore... and while we are enjoying this party and thinking of Christine, if you decide to buy any jewelry for your pearls remember you are helping out one of my best friends and an amazing woman who would do the same thing for anyone else.
