Time Is Running Out. Help Christian Spend It With His Family-A very rare brain tumor is taking their dad. Every gift brings comfort, care and peace.
He's a devoted husband, a full-time father, small business owner, and a quiet soul who's poured his life into caring for his family. He and his wife Nikki have been married for 26 years and have two boys—ages 14 and 16—both on the Autism Spectrum. While Nikki has served as a social worker at the Zimmer Cancer Center in Wilmington, N.C., Christian ran a small business and raised their boys with devotion, patience, and love. He has been a very active participant in the New Hanover County Disc Golf Community.
In April of 2025, Christian began experiencing seizures. Over the following months, things escalated: he's now had over 200 seizures and two strokes, leading to multiple physical injuries. On July 8th, 2025, Christian was diagnosed with Stage 4 Glioblastoma (GBM)—a rare, highly aggressive brain cancer that affects just 1% of men his age.
His first major brain surgery is Thursday, July 17th, 2025. Doctors have given him a prognosis of just 9-14 months, *if* he survives the surgery and endures a difficult course of chemo and radiation. His medical bills have already surpassed $400,000, and the financial burden is overwhelming.
Now Nikki is not only the family's sole income provider—she is also Christian's caregiver, chauffeur, insurance navigator, and emotional lifeline. Their sons need stability, therapies, and support during a time when their whole world has been turned upside down.
They NEED our help.
This GoFundMe campaign will help cover:
- Christian's ongoing medical care
- Lost wages
- Household expenses and therapies for their sons
- Travel and lodging during treatment
Please help however you can—by giving, praying, or sharing this story far and wide. Every single act of generosity matters.
Let's surround this family with the same love Christian has given his family every single day.
Thank you so much for your gift to help Christian! Your support is deeply appreciated and is helping make a difference in this heart wrenching battle.
