Stem Cell Therapy for Carmen

Thank you for taking the time to read this, My name is Iris Estrada and I have created this goFund me account in hopes we could raise money in time to get my mother Carmen Samaniego the treatment she needs to beat this horrible diease. My mother was diagnosed with Stage 4 Ovarian cancer four years ago, as you can imagine that news was devestating to us all. She has since had two major surgeries to remove cancerous masses as well as a few rounds of chemo. One surgery was a complete ovarian hysterectomy the other was a cancerous mass in her abdomen.  We have hit a dead end. Doctors found another large mass near her spine adjacent to a main artery. As of now it is non operable and chemo isnt working. We were told about a newer form of treatment called Stem Cell therapy. We found a doctor, Dr Henderson at Hemisphere, in Orange, ca.  who has had success creating a vaccine that can help create more white blood cells that serve as defenders. These vaccines are tailored to the individual and their type of cancer the vaccines serves kinda like a "pac man" the eat the cancer cells. Then the Dr Henderson will follow up with stem cell therapy to support the bone marrow,  Assuming she qualifies for this treatment. The insurance company will not cover this treatment therefore we are reaching out for help. We need to come up $12,000. in days as time is of the essence. Our mother is one of the most kindest and selfless people I have ever met never asking anyone for anything. Since she got sick she lost everything, her house her job her independence. She knows her days are numbered. ANY kind of help that we could get would be such a blessing. I am currently working on getting all her medical records sent over to Dr. Henderson as well trying to see what resources we can use to raise the money within the next two weeks. Thank you for taking this time to read our story, a story like many others.  We will not stop trying we will not stop fighting.

I didnt mention this  I am so sorry  she needs to qualify for this treatment as soon as her medical records are in the hands of Dr. Henderson he will review everything and contact me, praying by this weekend. It cost money to get started but Dr. Henderson is working that out with me. He expressed how important it is for us to get started. The $12,000. is for the actual vaccine and all the labs as well as labs that she will require after. Thank you all so much my family and I are so touched by the amount of love she is getting.

My mother is  responding well to the chemo. She still has the tumors but they are  shrinking  which is great. We have been told by the doctors that her cancer always returns in different forms and survival rate for this cancer isn't high but I REFUSE to accept that. Right now She fractured her right shoulder and will be having surgery to repair it so that's the current focus. I am praying we can raise the money to start treatment shortly after. I am struggling to raise the $12,000. I am just praying that there is a reason it us taking so long.  She was approved medically by Dr Henderson back in August but since time has passed we will have to get her approved for the treatment again.  Thank you for your prayers and love.
