"Fighters for Frankie," Support Frankie's Cancer Battle

Hello, friends and family my name is Laura or many people know me as Pebbles, and I created this GoFundMe to help support my sister Francisca "Frankie" Rivera in her fight with ovarian/cervical cancer. Frankie is the kind of person that maintains a positive attitude no matter the outcome. She could never ask anything of anyone and always puts others before herself. She has touched many lives throughout her work as a PTA, bringing laughs and love to anyone who is blessed with the opportunity to meet her. She gave 20 years of service working at The Hospitals of Providence Memorial Campus. She now continues to work in home health despite the unexpected news.

Frankie's diagnosis came from out of nowhere. She wasn't feeling good for a month or two and ended up going to the hospital with abdominal pain. She had a CT scan of her abdomen, and the results changed her world immediately. After a few days, it was confirmed that she had cancer. Frankie will be starting chemo soon, and she has already begun fighting and fighting hard. She has been going through multiple small procedures already, but even through the pain, she still holds her head up high. My sister is one of the strongest women I know. I'm not saying that because she also did cross-fitt, either. She always manages to stay positive and have a smile on her face. Even starting this battle, she continues to go to work with a positive attitude.

My family is no stranger to battling cancer, as our mother had cancer a few years back and won her battle. Now, it is time for Frankie to fight hard and win her battle as well.
