It takes tremendous courage and tenacity to fight
brain cancer. Many have bravely done so, none more so than Philip Parks. Since January 2015, Phil has undergone three brain surgeries, 33 rounds of proton radiation, and a dendritic cell treatment. These have helped him stay alive and have protected his brain function. Despite pain and suffering while recovering from surgeries and the loss of motion in his left leg which prevents him from running and playing outdoors, courageous Phil doesn't complain. He continues to his use his terrible burden as an opportunity to share his love for God great appreciation for life with whomever he meets. Always a hard worker, he has excitedly entered into his eighth grade year of school.
There is a very hopeful cancer treatment plan at CTCI Centre in Tel Aviv, Israel, that would be administered by Dr Slavin, an expert in immunotherapy who studied at Stanford and has successfully treated and cured many "incurable" cases with immunotherapy. The plan includes dendritic cell vaccines, injected with placenta and cord tissue derived MSCt, two immuno drugs that have passed phase III trials, and an oncolytic virus that has also passed Phase III trials, as well as oncothermia. Both his neuro-oncologist at UK and Dr Slavin at CTCI are communicating together, to come up with the most effective way to fight back at the aggressive nature of Phil's cancer. This will require at least three weeks in Israel.

Phil can safely travel overseas for the next 3 months. After that, we are advised to stay closer to home, due to the nature of his disease.
