I’ll let Spencer’s dad say the rest:

One word for Spencer? Suffering. Several words for Spencer? Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Of all the humans I’ve ever met, I’ve never met someone who’s suffered more or been more Spirit-filled.

His condition is congenital heart failure from Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (he was born missing a ventricle). He has a Fontan alteration to his heart, a carbon fiber valve and is continuously paced. He bears visible scars from six open heart surgeries and numerous less invasive procedures. The skin on his arms and head also display remnants of the battles.

Spencer is the the toughest guy in the room but the thing about Spencer is that he doesn’t care he’s tough. He just wants to get the job done. He’d rather it be someone else, but he doesn’t complain that it’s him. Ever seen him walk with tough guy swagger? Me either. Oh Spencer. Who are you?

People who know Spencer, want to help and those who hear his story, ask to give. So we finally have a place. This GoFund me has been created for those who wish to donate monetarily. This family is being used for God’s glory, help to take the financial burden away.
