Fight With Mo

22 year old Morneè Robinson Curry also known as (Mo, Momo) was diagnosed with Stage 3 Oligodendroglioma Brain Cancer in July of 2020. The last year and a half Mo has undergone treatment after treatment dealing with not only the tumor found in her frontal lobe,  but also kidney failure and another tumor found in her spine. Up until Jan 2022 all of her medical bills are covered. However, bills from 2020-2021 have been placing Mo in medical debt, and travel expenses going back and forth for treatment which she does not do in her home town. Mo continues to work part time at Shunas Hair Studio, and steps back when she is no longer able to work. Mo is well known in the community for her spoken word, NAACP, Church events also a hairstylist and anything asked of her to take part in. Mo is very bubbly, very outspoken, a light to anyone lucky enough to be around her. Mo is special to many and unfortunately she will be spending her 23rd birthday in the hospital undergoing intensive aggressive chemotherapy, she’s hoping to be her last. Being someone who is always there at the hands of others, whether it’s giving her last, or helping with children. Through this all, her presence and making you laugh pushes her through this journey. Mo doesn’t always know how strong she is but we see her and cheer her on. “No one fights alone!” Getting her help with this battle would be more than appreciated.
