My dear friend Melissa (Avery) Castrello was diagnosed in February 2016 with stage 3 triple positive breast cancer. After going through a bi-lateral mastectomy, hysterectomy, chemotherapy and radiation, she went into remission. Sadly, this past December, Missy went back for an annual follow up and received the devastating news that her cancer has returned.

Missy is married to Louis, and they have a beautiful daughter Giada. She is part of a great team at Upstate Hospital. She is an amazing sister, daughter and friend to so many. She would do anything for anyone and is not one to ask for help in return. We are all shocked and devastated by the awful news and are asking for your prayers and support to assist with the impending medical cost and related expenses.

Missy will have to go through several more intense rounds of chemo and has been pulled out of work indefinitely. Aside from the emotional toll this obviously takes, their family will be down to one income. Treatments, medicine, and out of town specialists add up quickly, all after the toll it took on their finances the first time around.
