Fight With Lauri

Thank you all for taking the time to read about this cause. As many people know, Lauri Turner was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer in August of 2016. She's been battling this awful disease for 6 years now and it seems like it's one hurdle after another. Within the past few weeks she has had many new concerning symptoms which resulted in needing a MRI of her brain. Our worst fears were confirmed when we got word that a large brain tumor was found on her brain. After a consultation with the doctor to figure out a game plan, we have since learned that she has a large tumor on the back of her brain, a small tumor on the front of her brain and cancer in her skull. All the while still fighting the metastatic breast cancer. She will be having a consultation with a neurosurgeon to see if surgery is an option to remove the large tumor. And she will be receiving radiation as well. She requires 24/7 care and assistance doing every day tasks. Kevin has been off work caring for Lauri but since his income is the only income they have at this point he has to return to work soon as he is running out of vacation time and has to work to maintain their health insurance coverage. Any amount helps and will go to medical costs, travel costs as the treatments and appointments will be in Tulsa, and living costs. We truly appreciate the kindness and prayers that everyone has provided throughout this journey. God bless!
