Fight with Khem (Covid-19)
Donation protected
Today was not the day we were waiting for. Khem put up a good fight but his fight is over and he is resting peacefully. His heart could not take the damage that was done. RIP buddy, we are absolutely heartbroken. Please keep his family and friends in your prayers. This go fund me will now go to family for his life expenses. We love you so much and already miss you like crazy. :(
One of our best friend's Khem Uk was admitted into the ICU on Jan. 1st 2021 testing positive for Covid-19 and a temperature of 104.6. On Jan. 2nd at 9:24am nurse called because they had to put Khem on a ventilator because he was having a hard time breathing. By 12:09pm the nurses called again to say they had to start dialysis for his kidneys. Dialysis would help his organs heal from the Covid-19, because his body was in septic shock. The Dr. informed the Uk family that he was afraid for his life and that the next 6-12 hours were very crucial... (check updates below to follow his ups and downs since then)
Khem is currently still in the ICU. He has made improvements but has a LONG RECOVERY ahead. Even after he pushes through Covid-19 he will then have to recover from all the damage. He will be hospitalized for awhile. That is why I decided to start a go fund me....Please help us by raising some money so that WHEN he recovers (come on buddy, keep fighting!!!) he will have less financial stress. Keep fighting Khem, you have tons of people sending love and prayers your way.
