My name is Kaylan Gessner, and I am a junior in high school. My mom, Julie Kubena was recently diagnosed with a form of cancer called non-Hodgkin lymphoma. My mom is the smartest, most kindhearted, selfless, beautiful woman I know. My mom is my best friend, she's the mom that does it all. Shes an amazing mom to myself and my siblings, an amazing wife to my step dad, a daughter/sister, a friend to many, and most importantly an amazing nurse. She's the strongest person I know, and I want to do everything to help her and be there for her, living with no regrets.
