Kiana is an 18 year girl who was attending her First Year of Nursing.

She has engaged many people with her positive attitude, leadership and deep faith in Jesus Christ. 

Kiana has been very close to her family and to her spiritual family. During her second semester she started experiencing shortness of breath and had a dramatic loss of weight.


When she had gone to the Emergency Room the doctors found that she over 5 liters of water in her lungs. 



After weeks of intensive tests, Kiana was  diagnosed with Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma. It's a fast growing and aggressive cancer.

We were all shocked to hear the news, especially for Kiana as she was preparing for her final exams. 

Instead of exams, Kiana is going through different kinds of tests to figure out how advanced her cancer is.

As all cancers are never expected, it's even harder for an 18 year old to go through. 

Kiana and her family are going to need the funds to support them through her cancer treatment. 




Her wonderful mom has taken leave of her job to take care of Kiana full time, as she does not want to expose her to any complications of Covid-19. At the hospital, Kiana's mom can only visit for 1-2 hours a week, but we hope that she can come home soon.

The family has been spending money on effective PPE, hospital visits, and medicine that is not covered under their drug plan. 

We hope to raise $6, 000.00 for Kiana, to help get her through the biggest fight of her life.
