Fight with baby CamRon against leukemia
CamRon is only 3 years old and was recently diagnosed with leukemia. We are raising money to help his family with the high cost continued care. Anything helps!
Here is his story.
May 22nd CamRon got food poisoning from
chocolate milk that was accidentally left out all
day. The next day the 23rd he had diarrhea along with being warm to touch so we gave him
Tylenol.
The 24th Sunday around 5am CamRon was
Shaking not verbally responding.
His temperature spiked over 100 degrees so we rushed him to the ER. There the doctor did a
urine analyst and took a chest X-ray, and came
back with what they thought was Pneumonia.
They prescribed him antibiotics, Tylenol,Motrin, and zolfran. Tuesday the 26th CamRon started
to reject the antibiotics along with the Tylenol
and Motrin, and nothing would stay down. I
made appointment with his pediatrician for the
following day. But Cam didn’t make in, because
tuesday night I woke up to Cam Shaking again so I rushed him back to the ER where they did
new blood work. The doctor woke me up around 5am and told me CamRon's blood work was
abnormal, and his count is extremely low to
none, and they see a blast in cells. And he said
he’s being admitted and transferred to a
specialist that can assist better we will be in
good hands.. CamRon made it to Sutter
Sacramento upon arrival the team was waiting
on CamRon with open arms, BUT we didn’t
know what was really about to happen and
everyone around us knew. The specialist told us straight forward that they believe he may have
Leukemia. CamRon was then scheduled for
surgery on his bone marrow, and a spinal tap to
remove fluid, along with getting a hickman for
his broviac catheter. He explained CamRon had a blast in blood cells that indicate cancer cells.
On May 28th CamRon was Diagnosed with Aml Leukemia that requires 6 to 9 month of
Chemotherapy treatment. We were informed
By our hospital social worker We don’t Qualify
for extra benefits To be covered 100 percent for treatments, I have a share cost of 10 percent.
Anything would help Baby Cam out to A
successful road to recovery!
