Garrett was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma Cancer in 2020. This diagnosis has been life changing for Garrett and our whole family. Garrett is a St. Laurence Viking Alumni and is a Senior at Marian University. While most college seniors are worried about finding jobs, Garrett is worried about doctor's appointments, mounting medical bills, and willing himself out of bed after aggressive chemo treatments. He has been fighting with all his might and giving it his all but unfortunately, the cancer is more aggressive than we wanted and we have to resort to a stem cell transplant.
Stem Cell Transplants are very costly and as we all know, insurance will not cover much- on top of all the bills from the chemo. Garrett's mother- Carol, will have to take time off of work so someone will be by Garrett's side during his 100 days of isolation in the hospital which does not help financially.
Garrett will beat this but we need your help. We want Garrett to focus on beating this cancer and getting back on the field playing Lacrosse, making good memories with his friends, family and girlfriend and doing what he loves. His family would greatly appreciate whatever help you can give, even $1 helps, towards his never ending piling up medical bills. God Bless.
