Hi,
My name is Danielle Crevier and I am an early childhood educator.

I have had the privilege of getting to know and work with a family at the daycare who has gone through a traumatic event.

There was a huge fire in Lachine and unfortunately they lost everything. Mom is expecting a baby girl. She is eight months pregnant, and has a 33month old little boy who was in the building with her at the time of the fire. She did not even have time to grab her shoes, a firefighter threw them down to her. In addition, her son who was watching everything, was crying and yelling :( .

Dad had the unfortunate experience of coming home, to no home.

Thankfully everyone made it out, but they did not have insurance, all the new baby stuff mom had been accumulating is gone, the appliances they just purchased are gone, furniture, clothes, toys, all gone.

They are currently looking for an apartment to live in.

I saw a sparkle in this little boy's eyes when he was in my class, and I hope we can make sure that sparkle stays, despite the fire.

Please help, however you can.
