February 15, 2025 I got the call I’ve been dreading for the last 30-ish years. I have breast cancer…

I don’t know all the details yet, but I have an appointment Monday that will hopefully lay out the plan of attack. It was caught early, only at stage 1 and very treatable. My prognosis is very good and my doctor is confident that there’s a very good chance that we get rid of this and I won’t hear the words again. I’m not freaking out, I’ve got this!!!

There’s no easy way to say something like this and the words tend to stick in my throat, so please forgive me if you haven’t heard this directly from me yet.

Ladies: get those tatas checked out and don’t put off doing what you know you need to do. Early detection is imperative!!!

Please keep me and my family in your prayers, for now, that’s all we need ♥️♥️

2/25/25 Thanking God for the good news!!! My MRI shows nothing in the right side, and no evidence of spread to the lymph nodes AND my her2 neu is negative which means there’s a pretty good chance that I won’t have to do chemo and radiation at all!! Please keep me in your prayers during this journey and thank you to everyone who has reached out and offered support so far! I have an amazing support system and I’m so incredibly grateful ♥️♥️

5/16/25 AM Surgery day!!! I want to say a huge Thank you to everyone who has covered and surrounded me with so much love and support through this terrifying season… I’m blessed to say there’s too many to name!! I really have the best friends and family anyone could ask for. This morning I’m headed into the ring for the fight of my life. Please send your prayers and positive vibes for a successful surgery and speedy recovery!

5/16/25 PM Surgery went very well today! The lymph nodes are showing as negative so far, praying that stays that way after the pathology. Pain is pretty much under control, just a little sore. Staying one night in the hospital and going home tomorrow morning!!
