Hi Facebook..family n friends. On April 14th...my whole world was rocked once again. After becoming stable n landing my dream job at Saint Vincent 8 North(Ironically an Oncology floor) I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Adenocarcinoma with Mets to my liver..lungs...n lymph nodes. After trying hard to still work..I realize If I'm not well..I can't take care of my family or my patients. My shirt term disability won't kick in for 7 weeks. It breaks my heart not to work but I have to fight for my life so I can fight for my patients again. Every one knows I loved my job. Anything will help. I need my family n friends right now.
