Fight Like Kathy
Donation protected
A few days after Thanksgiving, my mother in law, Kathy, had an absent seizure at work & collapsed. She was ambulanced to the hospital. Within the next few days, doctors discovered that she had a large brain aneurysm. Fortunately, it had not ruptured, but was still very serious and needed immediate treatment.
On December 21, Kathy had brain surgery to insert clips to avoid blood flow to the aneurysm. Unfortunately, during the surgery, she suffered a stroke. This has led to physical limitations to the entire left side of her body along with cognitive distortions.
While Kathy is recovering and seemingly improving everyday, her entire life has been impacted and she has a long road ahead of her to hopefully, a full recovery. She is currently still hospitalized receiving rehabilitation services daily. She is slowly learning how to walk, feed and care for herself again.
While love, support and well wishes are all we truly need, anything you can donate towards her medical bills would be truly appreciated by both her and our family.
Thank you.
