Cancer sucks! The most incredible little girl I know, Nora June was diagnosed with leukemia at the beginning of this pandemic. She is a four year old girl, living in small town Hancock, Vermont. She is a strong, brave, beautiful, little girl with a smile that can light up a room. Nora is the best big sister, she has nothing but compassion and love to offer even as she is going through chemo. She has been fighting this battle and trying to maintain her positive energy as she is slowly working to overcome this awful disease. She is continuing to progress through treatment, but the road to remission is a long, hard one. Nora June and her family are needing support as she keeps on fighting this horrible illness.
The diagnosis of childhood cancer was the worst news any parents could receive. Nora's mother is one of the most amazing women I know, she is a wonderful mother, but she is tired. Nora's dad is a hard working diesel mechanic, who unfortunately is unable to work as he needs to quarantine with his family to protect his daughter. This family has been in and out of the hospital more than I have in the last year, and I work in EMS. The family will continue to provide the strength, love and support their daughter needs to beat this cancer, but they are now financially struggling and need your support. I ask you to please help this family; mom and dad were high school sweethearts, their love story created a warrior who will grow to be a woman that will change this world. Please if you are able to help it would make a world of difference for this little girl and her family.
