Fight like a girl, Kori!

Allow me to introduce myself, I am Sarah Vega-the coordinator of this fundraiser. I met Kori several years back while volunteering at Alamo PTO, Kori was also an active member at the time, and as time went on-our friendship blossomed. The friendship grew like a vine amongst the other members, too. We all came to know and love Kori, she became one of our soul sisters. Now let me tell you more about Kori, she is the 39 year old mother of Harley, age 9; D'Anthony, age 15; and Davyn, age 16. Kori is the spouse of Michael Gomez, and is a resident of Fort Stockton. Anyone who knows Kori, knows that she is all heart and always smiling. Kori truly lights up the room and brings joy to those around her. Unfortunately, a large mass was found on Kori's cervix and she was then referred to an Oncologist where she underwent further testing and the results came back malignant. She will undergo 6 weeks of chemotherapy and radiation, and as we know-medical expenses will add up. I ask that if you can, please donate to help alleviate the stress of medical expenses and travel. If you're unable to donate, we ask that you pray for Kori as she begins this journey soon. We are confident she is going to fight like a girl and overcome this bump in the road.
