Fight It Debbie! Stage 4 Metastatic Colon Cancer

On December 5th, 2018, the McEllrath Family received the devastating news that Debbie's Colon Cancer is stage 4 with metastasis. Without a miracle (and OH do we need one!) this cancer is by definition… incurable. But, doctors do not own crystal balls. The future is yet to be seen! By working together we can help make that future more comfortable for the McEllrath Family.

I am asking you for your help, to help her and her family financially. I’m not privy to their finances but I do know there are so many unknowns. Medical advances are costly, even with insurance. There may be specialists involved. Infusions and chemotherapy will be trying. Any dollar you can donate will go directly toward’s Debbie’s medical care, the household in general and creating some lovely family memories by taking a few trips. These funds are not just for Debbie and her “medical” battle. Her husband Josh, and their 4 children... Ethan, Lauren, Kendall and Kyle will also directly benefit from whatever dollar amount you can donate.

I hold HOPE with the future being unknown, because anything is possible! We will surround Debbie and her family with love, light and support while they treat this cancer. Through all this, Debbie's soul remains positive and radiates love to those around her.

Thank you so much for reading this. Your time, donation and love will truly make a personal difference!

Please share this link to your Facebook timeline, IG or whatever social media you use, lets get the word out! We are very happy using GoFundMe as a platform for fundraising, but if you do want to give money directly to the McEllraths through PayPal Debbie's direct pay to link is:

Words from Debbie when they got this news...
"Yesterday Josh and I got the news that we feared. I am stage 4 with metastasis. This is incurable. I will still receive treatments with intent to delay growth and preserve my quality of life. My oncologist encouraged us to take trips, enjoy our family, and to do the things I’ve always wanted to. She will work my treatments around whatever we ask. Prognosis with treatment is usually 2-4 years. We are completely shattered. Our hearts are broken.
I will tell you this though, if it takes my body it won’t be because I gave up. I will never give up. I will fight with every fiber of my being. I believe in miracles and I am a fighter. I will keep my positive attitude and hope it takes me far.
I know many of you will reach out with messages. Thank you so much for your love and support. Please know that we are receiving many messages and we might not reply right away. We’re going through a very hard time right now.
We love the prayers and know that they are coming from so many people across the globe. We have an excellent support system and we love every one of you.”
