Fight Injustice with Shelly Carter & Family

It has been heartbreaking to watch my sister, Shelly Carter,  and her two amazing children face the unimaginable these last five years. The financial burden has been substantial. To have ones husband and father wrongfully accused of a heinous crime is unfathomable and needless to say completely surreal. My heart has hurt for them throughout this entire experience. It is my hope that the good people who are able to see and understand the injustice that has fallen upon their family will support them as they move forward in life and as they continue to fight for real justice. For all those who have supported and loved our family throughout this entire ordeal, we are forever grateful.  I asked Shelly to share a heartfelt  statement below. 

“The kids and I count our blessings for amazing family and friends who have provided prayers, love, and support over the past five years. Gracious people gave us encouragement that sustained us through the nightmare of a horrific loss, a botched investigation, a civil trial, and a criminal trial.  As you can imagine, this disastrous chain of events has depleted our assets. We continue to fight for justice - Our battle is not over. We are grateful for those who are trying to help us find resources to pursue justice. With gratitude and blessings.”  Shelly
