Help Brad Strong, Grandpa, Father, Husband Defeat Two Cancers

In November, Brad was diagnosed with prostate cancer. In the midst of finding a treatment plan and awaiting surgery, Brad was dealt a second challenge. After multiple tests, doctors confirmed a second cancer diagnosis; stage 3 lung cancer. As a result, doctors have decided to place the surgery for prostate cancer on hold.

Brad is now faced with many doctor appointments, tests and procedures, and doctors have indicated that Brad will no longer be able to work. Additionally, while insurance will cover some of the costs of extremely costly chemotherapy, radiation treatments, hospital stays, doctor visits, and numerous diagnostic procedures and future follow-up medical scans, Brad will still be forced to deal with copays and deductible charges as well as lost wages. And after Brad successfully navigates the challenges related to the lung cancer, he will then have to deal with the prescribed surgery and treatment for the prostate cancer surgery.

Nevertheless, we are CONFIDENT that Brad will be able to successfully navigate the biggest challenge of his life…with your support!

The treatment:

Because the lung cancer has metastasized beyond the lung, doctors have determined it to be inoperable. Therefore, Brad will undergo seven rounds of chemotherapy and radiation treatments as well as immunotherapy.

Despite the overwhelming treatment plan to deal with both types of cancer, Brad maintains an optimistic mindset.

How can you help:

Brad is a selfless and dedicated family man, an extremely hard worker, and has done so many great things in life. So many people have asked how they can help. Therefore, we are setting up this fund to help cover Brad’s medical bills and offset some of his lost wages. Our hope in creating this fundraiser is to alleviate what burden we can from Brad and his wife Penny. This will be a long road for the family, as it will involve the treatment and cure of not one, but two cancers. The treatments and subsequent follow up care, as well as the resulting inability to work is taxing and stressful, but your financial support can allow Brad to really focus on what is most important, defeating this horrible, but curable disease.
