Fight for Trent

My name is Tyra and my best friend Britt needs all the help you can give. On Saturday night December 6 her oldest son was involved in a horrific dirt bike accident that has left him in critical condition and a medically induced coma. He has already had a few surgeries and is fighting for his life. With being at the hospital Britt and her husband Joey and siblings will need all the support they can receive for bills and expenses that are to come while they stand watch and support Trent in any way they can. There is a long journey ahead of this entire family and they will need all the prayers and support they can receive. Thank you for all the support and prayers sent his way.

Update Dec 9

Thank you all for the continued prayers and support! As of this mornin Trent is still in critical condition but hanging on and fighting for his life. There is still a long road ahead and the continued support and prayers are greatly appreciated. Thank you all again there is no words for the love shown in this tough time.

Update Dec 11

Its been a couple more days of fighting this battle and man is Trent fighting. There has been some small baby improvements but he isn't out of the woods. Trent fights like the strong-willed kid that he is but he is still in a coma and still critical. All the prayers are being heard as Trent is still fighting. Thank you all for the tremendous amount of support and prayers let's keep it going! Fight like Trent!

Update Dec 14

God this boy is strong. Trent is fighting with everything he's got. They have removed his chest tube and his drain tube in his head from the skull flap removal. His body is healing ever so slowly as he is still in a coma. We pray for him to continue healing and for him to wake up soon. Keep fighting Trent we love you. To everyone still praying and who have supported this family thank you. Keep praying we still have a very long road ahead.

Update Jan 3

It has been 28 days that Trent has been fighting since his accident. There has been small positive improvements as his body slowly heals. Him and his family are away from home as they are currently at OHSU. In the time he has been there they have reset his wrist fracture and they have done surgery to repair his jaw fracture. He is still in a coma but has started to move parts of his body a bit more. We pray that he will wake up soon. His body still fights fevers off and on that are continuously being watched and the swelling has reduced. The future is still uncertain as to what the next step will be and where they would be transferred for rehabilitation. We thank everyone that has helped and everyone that has prayed and still continues to support the fight with Trent. There is still a very long road ahead full of twists and uncertainty. All we can do is take it one day at a time, one step at a time and pray he wakes up. We love you Trent. Keep fighting. We can never express the gratitude we have for everyone that has supported and prayed and we thank you again. Let's keep fighting for Trent!
