Fight for the Forier Family

Donation protected
On June 5th, 2023, Jimmy passed away after a year and a half battle with cancer. His body succumbed peacefully, surrounded these last few days by his loved ones.

Your support, kindness and generosity for the duration of his fight has been immeasurable. Thank you for finding a special place in your hearts to keep them for all this time.
Please keep their family in your thoughts and pray for comfort while they process this monumental loss.

In lieu of flowers, we kindly ask you to donate to this fundraiser. Any additional funds raised will go towards remaining medical expenses, Celebration of Life expenses and Stephanie and Rhiannon so they do not endure any financial stresses in addition to this tragic loss.

Rest in Peace, Jimmy. Continue to look after Stephanie and Rhiannon

------------------------------

Hi, my name is Chrissy and my very good friends, the Forier Family (Stephanie, Jimmy and their 4-year-old daughter, Rhiannon), need your help.

In December 2021, Jimmy went to the hospital for severe stomach pains. Since then, he had been in and out of the hospital, and their family finally received his diagnosis in March 2022 that Jimmy had developed an aggressive form of Stage III Stomach Cancer.

Upon being diagnosed, Jimmy ultimately had to leave his job to focus on his health. He has undergone 4-rounds of chemotherapy over the course of 2 months and has lost 25lbs in the process. Jimmy surprises everyone and is doing very well, aside from your usual chemo side effects. He is meeting with his surgeon on June 7th to discuss his upcoming surgery. He will likely need to remove his entire stomach in the coming weeks. The recovery time for this kind of surgery will likely be up to 8-weeks. Once he has recovered from that surgery, he will go back for another 4-rounds of chemotherapy for an additional 2 months.

The surgery and additional chemotherapy will likely leave Jimmy unable to work for a while as his body heals and recovers, leaving the expenses to fall solely on his wife Stephanie for their family of 3. Medical bills have piled up on top of their everyday expenses. They have managed to stay afloat until this point, but the uncertain times and long fight ahead may cause financial distress on top of the emotional stresses they already feel from navigating their lives after learning of his diagnosis.

The Forier's are a family that never asks for help and is often the family that extends themselves to whoever needs a helping hand. Let's return the favor and help them out during this very troubling time. Let's help them in their fight!

All money donated will go towards their current and upcoming medical expenses and help out with their everyday expenses.

I will continue to provide updates as they learn more about his surgery date, recovery and upcoming chemo treatments.

Thank you all for listening, donating, praying and sending healing thoughts to this beautiful family.
