Fight for Smiley Miley

Hi there everyone my name is Kenzie and I’m starting a GoFundMe for Farrah and Beau, for their baby girl Miley.  They can’t thank everyone enough for all the support, love, and prayers they have received so far. After a surgical biopsy of the eye, CT, MRI scans, and all the pokes and cuts we finally have a diagnosis. Miley has Langerhans cell histiocytosis. This means her immune system is recreating extra cells that have formed behind her eyes and the eye bone. The picture’s shows the inflamed mass. Some medical professionals would say its a form of cancer, some say it’s not. But what we do know is that it’s very rare, about 1 in every 200,000 children are diagnosed every year. With that being said, Miley will be getting another surgery on Monday for a port to be placed to administer medicine easier. She will be starting chemotherapy on Tuesday, and every Tuesday after that for a full year. Farrah and Beau will be traveling weekly to Portland for her treatments. The good news is this is cureable, we have a long road ahead of us. That being said,  between medical treatments, chemotherapy, and traveling each week from Umatilla to Portland things will start to add up.
