It’s never easy to hear the words “your child has cancer”. It’s something, as parents, we all dread. Unfortunately it is a reality for some, and earlier this month we found out that my dear brother, Scott Vitello’s eldest son, Salvatore, had been diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. From that moment, every one of us close to Scott and Sal have felt the emotional rollercoaster that cancer brings to a family. However, a family we remain, and as a family we are committed to seeing Sal conquer this disease and to helping his father, Scott, provide him the best care possible.
