FIGHT FOR QUINN!

Hi

As some of you may know my 3 year old Son Quinn has been recently diagnosed with Cancer. in early September 2022, This has turned our lives upside down but we are strong and going to fight with Quinn all the way to try and beat this.

Quinn has Wilms Tumours on both Kidneys which is very rare.

Since September Quinn has been having Chemotherapy and on December 6th was admitted to Great Ormand Street Hospital. After nearly 2 months in hospital and after 7 operations Quinn had his right Kidney removed and 15% of the other removed.

Unfortunately for Quinn he had many complications after surgery, he had bowl intersections which meant they had to operate two days later to put it right, three days later it happened again. This poor boys had already been through so much in just a few days.

Once the intersections got sorted we then had problems with the remaining kidney, its started to leak which meant it had holes in it. Quinn had to have three drain put into him to drain all the urine and he got infections on a few occasions because of this. They then had to operate and seal these holes up.

At the moment Quinn still has the drains in whilst the kidney recovers but we cant be to sure that it will, unfortunately there is a chance we could still lose it. We are terrified and pray that this doesnt happen.

Quinns nerves in his hand and feet have been also damage by the type of Chemo that he was on "Vincristine" so he cant use his hands properly and cant stand or walk, these is so hard for him as he loves dancing. He will need a lot of work and Physio therapy to help him.

We are looking at other Chemo and treatment so he can continue the fight, he also has Radiotherapy in Feb 2023, he will have this everyday for 2 weeks, this will damage part of his stomach muscles as they blast away any cancerous cells that have been left behind.

We are pushing fundraising efforts to the limit in 2023. Quinn and the Movember challange rasied a massive £15,110 for the Dream Factory to help other kids like him. "But now Quinn needs help" We want raise as much as possible (in case his treatment hasn’t worked or he relapses quickly) we need to be preapred. Your donations will help for future treatmemt abroad which isnt accessible over here in the UK and to cover all of Quinns medical expenses which we can simply not afford. We are begging for your help…there’s only so much time as a family we can dedicate to planning fundraising and afford. Quinn needs full time care and we must be there for him to get him through this.

Samantha and I are SO touched by everyones support and genrosity. Totally & utterly blown away. Family, friends & strangers have shown us so much kindness ❤️ We really are so grateful.

We are SO SO proud of Quinn! And his brother and sister Jordan and Macie who have already missed out on a proper Christmas, missed out on holidays and birthdays etc and they never complain. They are truely amazing kids and we couldnt get through it without them x

My next fight for Quinn is in August where I will be completing the 3 Peaks in 24hrs, Climbing Ben Nevis in Scotland then to climb Scafell Pike in the Lake District and then onto Snowdon in Wales. This is going to be hell and I am going to need some serious support to get through it.
