Fight for Nina

My good friend, Nina Capozzi, worked as a secretary in the Early Childhood Center at the Bentley Elementary School in Salem for more than 20 years. She was loved by her colleagues and even more loved by the many students who came to her office each morning to get stickers from her.

In October of 2018, Nina was involved in a very serious motorcycle accident. The accident resulted in her needing multiple surgeries and months of recovery in the hospital. Before she was able to return home following the accident, Nina got the news that she had Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. Over the last 2 years Nina has been fighting hard to recover from the injuries sustained in the motorcycle accident, and to battle her pancreatic cancer.

Between the many surgeries and long recovery from the accident, and now the weekly chemo and 20 plus medications a day, Nina and her family have faced extreme financial difficulty on top of everything else they are going through. Donations of any amount would be greatly appreciated to help alleviate the financial burden they are currently facing.
