Fight For Ms. Feldman

After months of insurance declining her requests for testing, my mom, Catherine (Cat) Feldman went to the ER and was diagnosed with Stage 4 Terminal Cancer. Many of you know her as a teacher, as a mentor, and as a friend. For a decade, she retired from teaching and dedicated her time primarily to caring for my youngest brother who has autism. She, and her fiancé Skyler, are still the primary caregivers for my two brothers, and have opened their home to her nephew as well. Obviously there are never-ending expenses that go along with fighting cancer and trying to set your family up for the future, but this gofundme has the main goal of giving my mom something she needs while she continues her battle. A home. After 11 years of renting, Cat and Skyler were ready to find a home to call their own, only to be met with the near impossible real estate market and unaffordable interest rates. My mom told us her dying wish is to have a home to spend her time in, something Skyler, Logan, Corbin, and Isaiah can maintain without her help. It is my hope that any funds raised can go towards a down payment sizable enough to make mortgage payments affordable with a home suitable for 5 people (and her grand children to visit).
