Help Save Milo – An Innocent Dog Facing Unjust Euthanasia
Our dog Milo is more than just a pet – he is family. He is the heart of our home, the emotional support for our 17-month-old daughter, and a gentle soul who has never shown aggression.
But now, his life is in danger.
Milo was taken by the police after a tragic incident outside a school. He was tied on a short leash. In a moment of fear or confusion, something went wrong. It was not an attack – it was a tragic accident. Still, the authorities decided that Milo should be euthanized.
We are truly sorry that this situation happened at all. Every morning we wake up with a heavy fear of what the new day may bring. We are mentally and emotionally exhausted. As parents and as dog owners, we are deeply affected – we feel pain, anxiety, fear, and helplessness.
We understand that everyone involved may be experiencing very strong emotions. As parents ourselves, we fully recognize that children’s safety always comes first. All we are asking for is a fair, calm, and unbiased evaluation of the situation – with respect for everyone.
The police made this decision before a full investigation. They refused to consider alternative solutions like relocation or expert evaluation. We followed the rules. We trusted the process. But it failed us. It failed Milo.
And here’s the heartbreaking truth: Milo was not even taken immediately after the incident. Authorities waited two full weeks. If he were truly dangerous, would they have waited that long? Would they have left him in our home with a baby, without any urgency or concern?
We are now fighting to save him – legally, emotionally, and financially. Milo is being held in a kennel that costs us 1,000 NOK per day. We are also paying for legal representation to fight for his life. These expenses are overwhelming.
We need your help.
Your support will help us cover the legal fees, daily kennel costs, expert assessments, and transportation if needed. Every donation – no matter the amount – is a step toward saving Milo. He is not aggressive. He does not deserve this fate.
Help us give Milo the second chance he deserves.
From the bottom of our hearts – thank you.
