My Name is Josh Slater. on the 14th of June 2024. I tragically lost my youngest brother Keaton Slater in a Hit and run on the Radford road., Coventry.

Keaton was on his way home from School and a car hit him at 80mph on 30mph road. The Coward Driver Dolars Aleksanders fled to his home country of Latvia the night it happened. So our family still has not had any justice for Keaton. As anyone could imagine, this absolutely broke my family and it should never of happened. Keaton had his whole life ahead of him. Now there is a void in our family, that can never be replaced. Keaton was a kind hearted, funny and an absolute legend of a kid. A massive coventry city fan. He was just one of a kind !

So lets get onto why I am fundraising. In The July of 2025 we put on a massive charity event in the name of Keaton. The event was to keep Keaton's Memory alive, raise awareness, raise money for various charities and put an event on for the community that supported the whole family through our darkest times. The event was amazing. So this Year we are doing it again and we aim to go bigger and better now we have the experience of hosting such a big event.

I boxed in the april of last year for Godiva's battleground. It was white collar boxing event. And I went out there to raise money to support putting the event on. The support I Had was unreal. It was a surreal night. I Got in the ring after 7 weeks learning to box and I came away with a Draw. Which i couldn't complain about. But I know in my heart I can do better.......

I will be boxing again on May the 2nd for Godiva's battleground. I'm coming back better and stronger. like anything I do in life. I've never been so determined. And I am coming to get a conclusive win this time. I have 14 week training camp. The hard work has started !

And hopefully 2026 is the year we finally get justice for our Keaton ! And we get this rat behind bars.
