Fight For Justice: Cheryl Hope
Spende geschützt
Hi, my name is Carman Drever. I am the granddaughter of James Harvey Symington, a former leader of the PBCC cult. My family and I chose to leave the Exclusive Brethren/PBCC in the early 2000s. After trying to expose some of the horrific church secrets in the late 1990s, I relocated to Winnipeg to try to raise my children in peace. I ended up fleeing to Tennessee with my family after conditions continued to deteriorate inside the cult. Since being out of the religious sect, I have had the chance to hear many stories from others who had to start over on the outside. One of the most horrific stories is that of Cheryl Hope Bawtinheimer. Cheryl was a fellow member of the Maple Creek local. She spoke out recently on a podcast called BlackBalled with her story. That video can be seen here: BlackBalled Cheryl Hope Clip. After sharing her personal account of her life inside the Exclusive Brethren, she has faced many challenges, including her husband's medical condition, computer crashing, and countless legal costs associated with her fight for justice. The goal of this go fund me is to help raise money for Cheryl Hope to replace her computer, purchase security equipment to protect her family, as well as help pay for legal fees incurred in her fight for justice. Any extra funds raised above the costs needed for Cheryl's battle will be used for the continued fight for justice for the victim of this religious sect/cult.
